Godrian was still sleepy, because most of the night he had been worrying about the chicken coop he bought from Jack Batfield. Richelle still did not know, and Godrian also worried for her reaction when she was told how much the birds had cost. Now, even if he paid only half the price in advance, it would be quite the loss if the birds were not delivered.
A little later the chicken coop was delivered, and Godrian could relax a little.Richelle rushed outside when she noticed the delivery, and when Godrian told her the cost, she said nothing but ran back into the house. Somehow Godrian knew she was upset, but maybe she too decided to give it a go before concluding with anything.
But where were those birds? To make it all worth the cost, there should at least be birds providing them with eggs.
Sigh, at least one bird. Godrian wanted to look inside, but there was no door.
Then he noticed a shelf on the back side, where 4 eggs waited. That had to mean there was more than just one hen in there.
Godrian found Richelle with little Bonny in the kitchen. The normal eggs were stored in the old fridge that will soon need a replacement.
None of them had seen an egg like this before...
Boletta is Godrian's green thumbed twin sister, serving Greench Market.
A little later Godrian visited the village center, but Boletta was not working today. Instead he decided to stop by at the little Town Square, where those Festival Fixers had rearranged their festival equipment. The Spring festival was on!
There he saw his friend, Pahomas Tulitto, the scientist, kissing a foreign woman. But Pahomas is married to Linda... what's going on? Was the girl one of the Batfields? No, Godrian never saw her before.
Pahomas was thrilled! He and his family recently moved to a better address, and they expect their second kid anytime. The kissing booth was just for fun.
So, when the scientist confirmed Spring, Godrian should no longer worry about colder days returning anytime soon. How long is Spring anyway? Pahomas had no idea, the changing seasons were new to him as well. Now he had to run, but he invited Godrian's family for dinner tomorrow, then he could tell them some more.
Godrian then ran into his sister Graica with her hubby Reynar (Richelle's older brother) and their 3 daughters.
Egg plants? Would that connect to the chicken coop? Could the purple egg be a seed after all?
Carie's business had improved greatly, and although the upgrade did cost lots of money she had also paid back those money she once borrowed from Godrian. Richelle was glad she did no longer need to bring up that subject every time they met.
Carie has 3 daughters, the oldest, Blanca, married to Yamir Redward some time ago. Gabriella is also adult, and Gerda is still a teen. Gabriella helps her old mom serving the bakery.
Carie started whispering.
The bakery was quite busy. Florence Batfield, festival fixer, entered, and at the tables Gaspar H. Blockwell and Yamir Redward were seated. Yamir is head of the council, and his late mum Corinne Y. Redward was sister of Richelle's dad, Alex Yea-Low.
So, Yamir seems to bring on the one-man leadership attitude from his late dad, Randal Redward? Or could the new real estate plans actually be something good? The next council meeting is up in 2 simdays.
