Welcome to Greench Farm!

This is a The Sims 3 legacy, following the household at Greench Farm, which is part of a still primitive, but growing, community on Maccaroni Island. Enjoy the journey!

The Greench Farm story started as a SimBasic spin-off on local Week 14 Day 1.

All my stories (and more) are now gathered on my new blog, Simmerville's Sims.

The farm

Pictures taken on Week 14 Day 1:

Greench Farm is located in the southern region of Maccaroni Island. The short road just above the text "Greench Farm" is called Greench Farm, referring to the Greenches moving to this area long ago, in order to grow food for everyone. This is where the soil is more fertile, and back when the community was organized, it was the natural location for a farm. Today there are households occupying 5 of the lots in the farm area, and they all descend from Greta and Gabriel Greench.

Greench Farm main property is a 64x64 lot, the largest lot of this region and the home to this legacy household.

Other references in the picture above are the Maccaroni Beach in front, the village (central region) between Greench Farm and the water tower, Sugar top (hilltop just outside the right side frame). Blumington bridge is seen in the distance all to the right, it crosses Bolan River and connects Sunrise Valley (part of eastern region) with the northern region. Dark smoke from the volcano can be seen up in the mountain, just up from the water tower.

The 4 pictures below shows from top:

1. Greench Farm, the main farm located to the left and the Gladiston and Peel families to the right. Greench Farm still has open land with a great potential for future farm owners.

2. The crops are organized in groups of 6. The pact says they need to grow only 3 of each sort, but I'll leave it to the next owner to reorganize the plants if needed.

3. The floor plan shows a large room where the kitchen corner is the busiest part. The section to the right contains 3 bedrooms. The current plan never was particularly successful, and there will be changes to the house as soon as the new owner can afford it.

4. There is a fenced in fruit garden between the horse Pepper's area, and the organized plants. It's a lovely place to sit down to relax, if only farmers could find time for not working...
